- Assure the student understands the reason the King James Bible is our final authority in doctrine and practice through manuscript evidence and practical application.
- Strengthen the student’s foundations in the Biblical and historical evidence for Baptist Doctrine.
- Prepare the student spiritually, mentally, experientially, doctrinally to successfully serve as a bi-vocational pastor.
- Aid the student in the selection and development of a personal ministry, which will be implemented during their time as a student, providing real experience in the mechanisms relating to the ministry.
- Develop the student’s pulpit ministry through classroom instruction, pulpit time, and coaching.
- Instruct the student how to prepare and teach biblical truths using various mediums, provide opportunities and coaching to assure effective delivery.
- Involve the student in the intricacies of administration and pastoral duties of a Baptist church.
- Present opportunities and actively promote students to develop camaraderie to provide each other with accountability and support throughout their ministries.
- Help the student identify personal traits that could lead to ministry burnout and failure, providing the individual student with Biblical counsel to overcome potential risks.
- Aid the student in placement as a youth, associate, or senior pastor role upon successful completion of the four-year program
